Thematic series on social factors associated with non-suicidal self-injury

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health (CAPMH) is proud to organize a thematic series on ‘Social factors associated with NSSI’. The previous two thematic series on NSSI published in CAPMH in 2012 and 2015 (organized by Paul Plener) were very successful, and we are excited to publish another NSSI special series in 2018.

The deadline for article submission is August 31st, 2018. All manuscripts concerned with social factors associated with NSSI are welcome, including family or peer interactions, social media, social cognition, and other factors.

Two waivers of the article-processing charge will be offered for manuscripts accepted for publication in this series by Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Joerg Fegert. These waivers will be reserved for authors whose organization does not have a membership with BMC, or are not eligible for other waivers, as their charges would be waived automatically (for further information, see here).

When submitting your manuscript, please make sure to indicate that it is part of the thematic series ‘Social factors associated with non-suicidal self-injury’ by selecting the appropriate option.
